It’s always a good idea, however, to shutdown other electronics (printers, monitors, scanner, etc.) over an extended break. Shutting down computers that will not be accessed during an extended break is also a good practice, as long as these computer will be turned back on as soon as the break is over (to allow security and antivirus updates to catch up and keep computers protected).
