This includes computers and electronics in the ECC, namely print servers, file sharing servers, application servers, web servers, etc. Moreover, networking will also be unavailable since the network switches may also depend on building power. It’s a good idea to shut down devices well before and after in case the maintenance crew runs ahead or behind schedule. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'>Servers in the ECC will be turned back on by Sunday 10PM – Monday 8AM, depending on availability of power and cooling in the server rooms. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'>Please plan your work accordingly and make sure lab equipment will be shut down as well. FM Technical Services Electrical Department is in need of performing critical high voltage repairs that impacts the buildings listed below. These repairs are almost to the point of emergency and are very necessary. We have assigned to a contractor that will be assisting us to complete the repairs in a timely manner. To perform the work we will need to schedule a complete building power outage for an approximate duration of 6-8 hours. Only emergency generator life safety systems will be available during this time period.
