submission of a grant/contract proposal, the PI will notify the
appropriate Research Administrator (RA) four weeks in advance, if
possible.</p>

“transmittal,” if the administering unit for the grant reports to the
Dean of Engineering, RAs Hamlett and/or Razo will assist with the
proposal submission (pre-award).</p>

3.<span style="font-size:7.0pt"> </span>When seeking a cost-share
(mandatory or voluntary) and/or IDC reduction (sponsored mandated and/or
voluntary), the request should be channeled through the appropriate
Department Chair. At least two weeks must be
allowed for cost share and reduced IDC issues to be resolved and
documented.</p>
