She led our engineering communications team through a period of tremendous growth—expanding creative services to support college and department initiatives; launching aggressive electronic communications to better market college research nationally; helping lead a massive project to transition our website into a dynamic content management system; and, most recently, implementing an electronic recruiting campaign to reach next generation engineering students. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoPlainText><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif"'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoPlainText><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif"'>Under her leadership, engineering communications has earned more than 40 awards from the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE District IV), the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC-Houston), the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA-Houston) and the Houston Press. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoPlainText><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif"'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoPlainText><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif"'>Join me in thanking Lindsay for her many contributions to our college!
