<br><br><div link="blue" vlink="purple" lang="EN-US"><div><p style="margin-left:0in"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;color:#244061">In support of The Boeing Company’s efforts to increase potential partnerships with Small Businesses and research-driven Universities, a Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Summit, co-sponsored by Boeing and the University of Texas, El Paso (UTEP) will be held at on Saturday, <b>February 18, 2012</b> at the UTEP campus.<u></u><u></u></span></p>
<p style="margin-left:0in"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;color:#244061"><u></u> <u></u></span></p><p style="margin-left:0in"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;color:#244061">The STTR program provides up to $1,150,000 in early stage research and development funding directly to a small business working cooperatively with researchers at universities and other research institutions.<u></u><u></u></span></p>
<p style="margin-left:0in"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;color:#244061"><u></u> <u></u></span></p><p style="margin-left:0in"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;color:#244061">The purpose of this event is to create a forum that will enhance the creation of partnerships between small businesses and universities in the development of technologies that may have potential application on Boeing products. <u></u><u></u></span></p>
<p style="margin-left:0in"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;color:#244061"><u></u> <u></u></span></p><p style="margin-left:0in"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;color:#244061">This one day event will feature speakers from The Boeing Company, US DoD SBIR/STTR Program office, and University Faculty members. Breakout sessions will be held to address specific technologies, and to provide networking opportunities for small businesses/universities in attendance to showcase their engineering/technical/research capabilities, services, and products. Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.</span><span style="font-size:10.0pt;color:#244061"><u></u><u></u></span></p>
