(SFFP) is currently open!<br>

deadline for both submission of the application and reference<br>
letters and forms is Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at 5:00 PM<br>
EST.<br>

The SFFP promotes communication between research faculty and<br>
Air Force research scientists and engineers. The SFFP provides<br>
an opportunity for hands-on exposure to Air Force research<br>
challenges through eight to twelve week research residencies at<br>
participating facilities for full-time science and engineering<br>
faculty at U.S. colleges and universities.<br>
<br>
Those who receive the award may also have the opportunity to<br>
bring a graduate student to participate in the fellowship.<br>
<br>
The SFFP offers a competitive stipend and daily expense<br>
allowance. Relocation allowances are also available. U.S.<br>
citizens and permanent residents are eligible to apply.<br>
<br>
Potential fellows are encouraged to contact an advisor at one<br>
of the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Directorates, the<br>
U.S. Air Force Academy, or the Air Force Institute of<br>
Technology. A list of advisors can also be found on the program<br>
website.<br>
