in utilizing instructional technology in the classroom and in electronic<br>
delivery. The Faculty Development Initiative Program (FDIP) has provided<br>
significant financial and instructional assistance to faculty engaged in<br>
innovative teaching with technology. For FY 2011, approximately $300,000<br>
will be awarded through two tracks. Individuals interested in developing<br>
electronic course material for use in a single course may submit proposals<br>
for Program A grants (maximum award of $4,000). Teams of faculty interested<br>
in developing electronic course materials for multiple courses may submit<br>
for a Program B grant (maximum award of $25,000). Proposals that address<br>
the development of hybrid courses with an off-campus component and/or the<br>
development of master零 level degrees and/or certificates are particularly<br>
encouraged.<br>
