</FONT><FONT COLOR="#0000FF"><FONT FACE="Arial">The report of "Study of High Risk Courses by Faculty Senate" generated some discussion about the undergraduate admission standards and the need to have these high rates of DWIF grades to insure the quality of our students. <BR>
</FONT></FONT><FONT FACE="Lucida Grande, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial"> <BR>
</FONT><FONT COLOR="#0000FF"><FONT FACE="Arial">As you might have read in the President's March Report, she outlined the nine-point plan to bring our 6-year graduation rate from 42% to the expected graduation rate of 55% at our peer universities. The top three on the list are<BR>
</FONT></FONT></SPAN><OL><LI><SPAN STYLE='font-size:12.0px'><FONT FACE="Lucida Grande, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial">Offer an exceptional living/learning experience for our students – the goal is to have <B><U>25% of students live on campus</U></B>.
</FONT></SPAN><LI><SPAN STYLE='font-size:12.0px'><FONT FACE="Lucida Grande, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial">Offer exciting and relevant educational programs that expose students to <B><U>three unique experiences - global, research, and service-learning</U></B>. <BR>
</FONT></SPAN></OL><SPAN STYLE='font-size:12.0px'><FONT FACE="Lucida Grande, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial"><FONT COLOR="#FF0000"><B><U>Realign admission standards</U></B></FONT> to ensure that entering students are academically prepared to succeed. <BR>
</FONT><FONT COLOR="#0000FF"><FONT FACE="Arial">As the result, <B>Stephen Soutullo</B> has been hired recently as <B>the Associate Vice President for Enrollment Services</B>.
