[CCoE Notice] Workforce of the Future event (UH + SPRINT)

Dear Cullen College Community,

The Subsea Systems Institute at UH is organizing a two-day event, in collaboration with SPRINT Robotics, to bring together industry and students/researchers to discuss robotics and AI in the energy workforce. Links to register can be found in the attached flyer.

The first day (Aug 15th) will take place at The Cannon West Houston and is geared toward industry professionals. Students/researchers can attend (there is a fee) and listen to presentations on the current state of the energy workforce and network with professionals.

The second day (Aug 16th) will take place at the UH Student Center, is free to attend, and includes company booths with demos and recruiters, talks and a research poster competition. The research poster competition will be an opportunity for students/researchers to showcase their work to company reps and the research community, and there will be cash prizes and potential internship placements. See attached competition document for more information.

Update: The poster draft deadline has been extended to Aug 4th. Additionally, poster presenters will be given one free ticket to the seminar on Aug 15th.
