[CCoE Notice] Crowdstrike bad patch pushed today early morning causing booting error on some windows systems

Good morning,

The UH antivirus vendor CrowdStrike issued a bad patch that is causing crashes for windows systems across the internet. Mac and Linux systems aren't affected by this patch and only causing issues on some Windows systems with few versions of installed CrowdStrike client.

Few of our college systems have been affected and if your system is working now you are good to go.  Our team have been working on fixing affected systems since early this morning and are attending the affected systems and we will be coming to all the department offices once we have a workable solution to fix all the affected systems.  If your computers is boot looping with the error indicated in the article, please send me an email and I will schedule it with my team to come and address the issue at the earliest. It is not difficult to repair and no data is lost so we appreciate everyone working with us to deal with this situation.
