[CCoE Notice] UH Spring 2023 Undergraduate Instructors of Record: Tutoring and Progress Report encouragement

Greetings, Spring 2023 undergraduate instructors of record,

Your partnership is vital for undergraduate student success at the University of Houston!

To help you ensure the strong performance of your students this semester, please share these two prepared slides as you welcome your spring classes next week.


  *   First, use this Tutoring slide<https://uh.edu/ussc/cultureoftutoringslides-general-all.pptx> to encourage your students to seek out-of-class tutoring and other academic supports, if appropriate for your content.

  *   Second, use this Navigate Progress Report class intro slide<https://uh.edu/ussc/navigate/progress-report-class-intro-slide.pptx> to inform students that you use Progress Reports as an early alert to identify students at risk of failing your course. Submitting a Progress Report for students who otherwise do not respond to your outreach routes those students to be triaged for additional support. (Customize the highlighted slide portion to tell how/when you will communicate with them before an alert is submitted.)
