Dear Cullen College Faculty and Staff,



It is my pleasure to announce that Inez Hutchinson will assume the position of Executive Director of Communications effective February 20th.



Inez brings with her nearly 10 years of experience as a communications and marketing professional. Prior to her promotion, Inez served as the Director of Communications for the Cullen College’s communications department. She joined the Cullen College in December 2017 and holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Houston.



During her time with the Cullen College of Engineering, Inez has had the opportunity to serve in many different roles, including communications and marketing management. Inez also played an instrumental role in developing the College's current marketing plan for the "Engineered For What's Next." campaign. Inez's management of the College's official social media channels and bi-annual magazine, Parameters, has seen great success, including accolades from the American Marketing Association and the Public Relations Society of America.



In her new role, Inez will lead the communications team in raising national awareness and perception of the Cullen College and its departments.
