[CCoE Notice] Engineering Professional Clothing Drive

Dear Engineering Community,

The Engineering Career Center is pleased to announce its first Clothing Drive. Consider donating any gently worn professional attire and help engineering students Dress for Success. The launch comes just in time for the upcoming Engineering Career Fair, and Spring conferences. The goal is to provide students with the attire needed to make a strong first impression at career fairs, conferences, and any other professional development events.
We will be accepting the following:
• Suits
• Slacks
• Blazers
• Dress Shirts
• Blouses
• Ties
• Shoes
• Belts
• Dresses/Skirt.

Collections will be happening Monday - Friday (10 AM - 2 PM). The drop off location is E312  (Engineering Career Center) or if prefer to drive thru by entrance E 19 (behind Engineering Building 2, 29°43'25.4"N 95°20'25.3"W). Please call 713- 743- 4230 or email ecareers at central.uh.edu<mailto:ecareers at central.uh.edu>, in advance, and someone will pick up the items from you.

The Dress for Success is an Engineering Career Center initiative dedicated to provide all engineering students with access to business professional attire. Engineering students can obtain 1 outfit of clothing per semester (based on availability), and the goal is to expand as donations increase.
