Dear Cullen College Faculty and Staff:

Thank you for once again participating in the State Employee Charitable Campaign (SECC). The importance of this annual tradition cannot be overstated. Your generosity ensures that our college and the university at large can continue to make positive change in our local community and beyond. Year after year, the Cullen College has stepped up in support of this mission, raising some of the highest totals of any other academic unit at the university, and this year was no exception. I am proud to report that the Cullen College raised $40,485! This far exceeds our goal of $30,000.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the SECC campaign, and a very special thank you to all the staff members who graciously served as coordinators for this campaign. Roshawnda Anderson (Cullen College of Engineering and Dean's office coordinator), Ting Chen (biomedical engineering department coordinator), Nicolette Solano (chemical and biomolecular engineering department coordinator), Cherish Wallace (civil and environmental engineering department coordinator), Kellie Sager (electrical and computer engineering department coordinator), Phillip Abraham (industrial engineering department coordinator), Megumi Lee (mechanical engineering department coordinator), and Rosemary Smith (petroleum engineering coordinator) were all instrumental in the college surpassing its fundraising goal. Thank you all so much!

Lastly, I would like to commend the faculty and staff in the biomedical engineering, civil and environmental engineering and the college-level departments. These departments had a record turnout in donations and contributors. Thank you for your continued commitment and generosity, and for also setting such a high standard for your peers. I have included the final campaign numbers in the table below.
