[CCoE Notice] Announcement: Webinar on Top Hat an active learning tool for classes

The Cullen College of Engineering has partnered with Top Hat to provide faculty with an active learning platform that has been vetted by the University. Top Hat has been used successfully for years by UH faculty but has now been officially vetted and can be synced with Blackboard within the College. Under the agreement, faculty will use Top Hat for no charge while students will be assessed a fee of  $30/semester, $48/year or $96 for four years.

Top Hat helps you engage students in and out of the classroom through cutting-edge polling software, low-cost interactive content and flexible homework systems. Top Hat also offers instructional design services to prep courses, train and work one-on-one with instructors to ensure they’re fully ready to use Top Hat for the first day of class and beyond.



We will be hosting Webinars for interested faculty to learn more about the platform on Monday, Jan 11th at 2 PM and Wednesday, January 13th at 10 AM.
