Dear colleagues:

I am a part of a team who is looking to expand mass spec capabilities on campus. We are in the process of writing an NSF Major Research Instrumentation proposal for the acquisition of a ThermoScientific Orbitrap mass spectrometer. We are reaching out to gauge faculty interest and to gain information on how it will enable your research interests. Attached is the description of the instrument and its capabilities. If your lab will also use the Orbitrap mass spectrometer, could you please fill out this brief 1-min survey? This will be very critical to the success of this effort.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

Megan Robertson
