[CCoE Notice] 2020 State Employee Charitable Campaign Update

Dear Cullen College Faculty and Staff,



The results of this year's State Employee Charitable Campaign (SECC) are officially in, and I am delighted to report that the Cullen College raised $41,956! This is a record high for the college, far exceeding our goal of $30,000. Your continued dedication and support never cease to amaze me, and because of you, we will continue to be able to make a difference in the community, especially in a time when there are so many in need.


Thank you to everyone who contributed to the SECC campaign, and a very special thank you to all the staff members who graciously served as coordinators for this campaign. Roshawnda Anderson (Cullen College of Engineering coordinator), Ting Chen (biomedical engineering department coordinator), Nicolette Solano (chemical and biomolecular engineering department coordinator), Cherish Wallace (civil and environmental engineering department coordinator), Sandra Sierra (Dean's office coordinator), Jenna Greengold (electrical and computer engineering department coordinator), Phillip Abraham (industrial engineering department coordinator), Fatima Delgado (mechanical engineering department coordinator), and Rosemary Smith (petroleum engineering coordinator) were all instrumental in the college surpassing its fundraising goal. Thank you all so much!


Lastly, I would like to draw special attention to the faculty and staff in the petroleum and electrical and computer engineering departments. These two departments both had a record turnout in donations and contributors. Their combined donations accounted for more than half of the overall college total. Thank you for setting such a high standard for our college to follow in the years to come. I have included the final campaign numbers in the table below.
