[CCoE Notice] laboratory equipment flushing

Dear Engineering Faculty and Graduate Students,



Upon return to your laboratories, please follow the guidelines provided by the City of Houston “Customer should flush their water system by running cold-water faucets for at least one minute, cleaning automatic ice makers by making and discarding several batches of ice, and running water softeners through a regeneration cycle.” https://mailchi.mp/houstontx/houston-lifts-boil-water-notice?e=513c313bcb.


For laboratory equipment flushing please follow manufacturer recommended procedures.


Safety showers and eyewash stations will be flushed by UH Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), please do not activate.
