Dear Engineering Faculty and Staff,


Please join me in congratulating the Office of Communications on their recent award from the American Marketing Association's Houston Chapter!


Our Communications team received a 2020 Crystal Award during a virtual event on June 24th for the college's "UH Engineering Excellence at Katy" video in the Outstanding Interactive Multimedia & Video category. The awards competition received hundreds of entries from renowned marketing, advertising, design and public relations firms across the Houston area, in addition to high-profile in-house creative teams from companies such as the Houston METRO, Houston Rockets, Halliburton and more.


The video details our strategic move to the Katy area and features interviews with leadership from the Katy Area Economic Development Council and our college's own, JR Rao. To date, the video has received over 1000 views on the college's YouTube channel<https://www.youtube.com/user/UHCullenCollege/videos> and has been shared across our various social media platforms.
