[CCoE Notice] CAPS Fall 2020 Information

Dear Engineering Faculty, Staff and Students,


CAPS will continue to operate via Teletherapy (phone and video). Call 713-743-5454 to be connected.


This Fall 2020, on-campus services will be offered at only the Health 2<https://www.uh.edu/maps/index.php#/places/HBS2>  location BY APPOINTMENT, 8:30 am – 4 pm, for the following conditions: 1) Individuals in acute crisis or 2) Individuals without access to technology or privacy needed for teletherapy services. Masks will be required for on-campus appointments.

Group Therapy<https://uh.edu/caps/services/group-counseling/><https://uh.edu/caps/services/group-counseling/> and Essential Skills<https://uh.edu/caps/services/essential-skills-workshops/> workshops will resume starting August 24.


Coogs Conquer<https://uh.edu/caps/outreach/coogsconquer/><https://uh.edu/caps/outreach/coogsconquer/> Online Mental Health Support Series will continue this fall.


QPR suicide prevention trainings<https://uh.edu/caps/outreach/qpr-suicide-prevention/><https://uh.edu/caps/outreach/qpr-suicide-prevention/> will continue via zoom.
