[CCoE Notice] REMINDER: Approved Excused Absence Policy and Interim Grade Policy

Dear Engineering Faculty,



Attached for your reference are the final Excused Absence Policy and Interim Undergraduate Grade Policy approved by the Undergraduate Committee and Provost Short.



Regarding Hyflex courses:  While F2F attendance cannot be required, can attendance be required with the student’s choice of either Face-to-face (F2F) or Synchronous online (subject to the excused absence policy)?



                Response: Yes



Regarding Synchronous online courses:  Can faculty set the expectation (requirement/grade) that students join online synchronously (subject to the excused absence policy)?



                Response: Yes
