[CCoE Notice] REMINDER: Fall 2020 Blackboard Courses

Dear Fall 2020 Instructors



It is that time of the summer again when you need to sign in to accessuh.uh.edu<http://accessuh.uh.edu> and then submit a request to have a Blackboard course web site created for you.  This is an easy self-service -- just log into accessuh and follow the instructions as given here: http://www.instruction.uh.edu/knowledgebase/how-to-request-a-course-in-blackboard-learn/


Please pay careful attention to:

·       Step 5 make sure you indicate all the sections you wish to merge.

·       Step 6 make sure you select the Engineering template from the dropdown list.

·       Step 7 if you have materials from a previous semester you wish to have copied to this semester then select the course you wish to copy from.


This above is worth repeating -- as you request your Fall 2020 Blackboard class shells it is very important that you merge all your sections, both face to face and online.  Most face to face (Hyflex) courses have two online sections that should be included in this merge. If you already requested your Blackboard shell and neglected to have them all merged together then you should send an email to blackboard at uh.edu<mailto:blackboard at uh.edu> indicating the course and all the sections that you need combined.
