 Dear Cullen College of Engineering Faculty,



You are being asked to participate in an expanded research study being conducted by Dr. Fredericka Brown, from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at The University of Texas in Tyler, Texas. This study correlates faculty mindset with instructional practice, learning environment, and teacher authenticity to produce recommendations that will directly implement new approaches to engineering pedagogy and learning strategies that improve academic achievement, engagement, and broadening participation. If you agree to be in this study, you will be asked to complete online surveys that may take about 15-20 minutes and provided a link to access the survey.   The incentive for completing these surveys is a $25.00 gift card.  Our online survey platform, Qualtrics, is set up so that links at the end of the survey for you to receive this gift card as well as to let us know you are interested in a follow up email are kept separate from survey responses to protect your anonymity.
