Join CPRIT for a webinar for potential applicants navigating the grant opportunities available through CPRIT’s Product Development Program.
The webinar will be held on Thursday, November 14th at 12:00-1:00 pm CT.
Through Product Development grants, CPRIT invests in startup and early-stage companies in Texas (and those willing to relocate to Texas) to foster development of novel cancer therapeutics, medical devices, diagnostics, tools and other non-traditional oncology products.
CPRIT will release three requests for applications on November 20, 2019:
* Texas Company Product Development Research Awards (TXCO)
* Company Relocation Product Development Research Awards (RELCO)
* Seed Awards for Product Development Research (SEED)
The application submission portal opens December 4, 2019 and closes January 29, 2020. The webinar will include an overview of the TXCO, RELCO and SEED grant applications, including review criteria, the application process, and tips for success.
The webinar will be hosted by Cindy WalkerPeach, PhD, CPRIT’s Chief Product Development Officer, and Rosemary French, Senior Program Manager. In addition, David Shoemaker, PhD, CPRIT Product Development Review Council Vice Chair, and Jim Jordan, MBA, CPRIT Reviewer, will provide a reviewer’s perspective on how to assemble a successful CPRIT grant application.
