[CCoE Notice] THURSDAY 2/21 - UH SACNAS Networking event

Engineering Faculty,

The UH SACNAS organization, recently founded by students with the help of Dr. Andrew Hamilton (NSM Associate Dean for Student Success), seeks to support undergraduate research through mentoring, networking opportunities, and guidance for presenting research at the SACNAS annual conference.

UH SACNAS will encourage and support students to attend the SACNAS national conference happening in Hawaii this October 2019. The organization is trying to connect students to Principal Investigators who would like to have undergraduate students work or volunteer in their lab.

This Thursday, February 21, UH SACNAS will hold a networking event at Calhoun Rooftop Grill. The goal is to help students learn about research opportunities in the Engineering department, with summer programs such as SURF and PURS in mind. We would love to have some of the engineering faculty come out and talk about the research they are doing or the research they have done.
