[CCoE Notice] [CCoE] Emails From Dean

Good Afternoon,

We have seen messages that look to be coming from the Dean of Engineering or the Chairs of Engineering.  This is a phishing attempt aiming towards a user responding, in which the recipient will be asked to purchase some form of gift card or to send money more than likely.  Please permanently delete this message.  If by chance one has responded to the message, stop all further responses and contact Engineering IT.

As always, please delete or forward to abuse at uh.edu<mailto:abuse at uh.edu> to report if any additional suspicious emails show up in your Inboxes.  If the suspicious email is obvious, then you don't need to report it.
