[CCoE Notice] TODAY: 56th TcSUH Student Symposium: Tuesday, April 30, 2019

Engineering faculty & students are welcome to attend Symposium

Dear TcSUH PIs, students, staff, and colleagues,



As a reminder, the 56th TcSUH Student Symposium will be held tomorrow in the HSC 102, with a BBQ following on the patio. We hope that youwill attend and lend your support to our student speakers for the day, and that you will share the invitation with interested colleagues.



Coffee and pastries are available in the morning before the first session begins at 10:00 a.m.. We will break for a sandwich lunch,where a demonstration of the new ‘people levitator’ will be exhibited in the HSC lobby. Come and take a spin and meet the IEEE Council on Superconductivity President and Treasurer who have made the demonstration unit availableand selected TcSUH as its custodian.



Please note that the prize structure has been enhanced, and that the 2019-2020 TcSUH Scholarship recipients will be announced at the culminating party on the patio. BBQ and drinks will be available to all, and TcSUH-affiliated faculty, students, and staff are welcome to bring significant others.



Feel free to bring your favorite game to the party on the patio. Several nice door prizes have been donated for lucky recipients, so be sure to get a red ticket at the table outside HSC 102 when you come to the symposium.



Please help us make the 56th Symposium a special remembrance for our students. Your participation is important.
