[CCoE Notice] Potential Traffic Impacts of Garage 5 Construction

Dear Engineering Community,

As some of you are already aware, construction on Garage 5, north of the College of Architecture, is scheduled to begin this month and will last through summer 2019. A new loop road that leads to Lot 19E will be constructed at a new location that is closer to the pond by engineering 2 (see graphic attached here).

The current loop will remain open until the new loop road is finished sometime this fall. You are encouraged to plan alternate routes to avoid any potential traffic issues and/or congestion on Elgin when construction begins.
