[CCoE Notice] NSF Workshop: Advancing Careers in Academics with Diversity Education and Mentorship in Engineering (ACADEME)

Dear Faculty, postdoctoral researchers and graduate students:


If you have  or are a student graduating or a postdoc, please considere applying or encouraging your students them to participate in the workshop that I am organizing this summer at UH. We will provide a stipend for the 2 weeks of participation and meals to students.


They will have the opportunity to learn about how to teach effectively, how to apply for faculty positions, prepare proposals and manuscript preparation, how to mentor effectively.


This workshop is for everyone interested in pursuing career in academia (teaching or research intensive institutions).


The deadline is March 1st!


Make sure to submit on time. More information on the workshop is in the flyer attached.
