[CCoE Notice] Update on Faculty & Staff Campaign: Here, We Go!

Dear Engineering Faculty and Staff,



Since the public launch of the University of Houston’s $1 billion capital campaign in January 2017, our sights have never been higher. To date, the Cullen College has raised $94,780,629 towards its goal of $140 million – the highest fundraising goal of any academic unit on campus. This funding will directly impact engineering student success, faculty support, new and improved facilities and enhanced research capabilities.



We, as members of the Cullen College of Engineering, play a vital role in achieving campaign priorities and shaping our University’s future. The success of the University’s “Here, We Go” campaign centers on the full participation of all faculty and staff within each academic unit.



I believe that in order to achieve our vision of becoming a Top 50 ranked engineering school we must believe in that vision. Currently, just over 17% of our faculty and staff have given back to the University of Houston this year. My goal is for 100% participation of our faculty and staff.



Making a single donation for as little as $2 to any of the University of Houston’s colleges, departments, programs or other fundraising initiatives doesn’t just help to fuel, build and transform the University – it symbolizes your commitment to the future of Houston’s University.



I challenge each of you to make a gift to the University before the February 23rd deadline to show the solidarity of our commitment to our students, faculty, staff and the Houston community. A one-time gift for as little as $2 to any initiative at the University of Houston will count as your participation in this campaign.
