Subject: Entrance 18 and Elgin Street work blocking lanes this weekend and next week


Please distribute and share as needed:



Facilities has been informed that the city of Houston public works department will be working this weekend and next week on entrance 18 and along the right-hand lane of Elgin street going eastbound.  Use of the right-hand lane will be blocked off to traffic and will include the right turn lane at entrance 18 which will also be blocked off.  Elgin will have the eastbound left-hand lane of traffic open during this time.



It is recommended to avoid this area of entrance 18 at Elgin if possible.  The city will have barricades in place to help indicate the blocked off areas.



The red line on the attached / included map indicates the area impacted by this street work.



More information and updates will be provided next week.
