The first NSM Faculty Development Workshop of the fall semester is scheduled for Friday, October 13, from Noon – 1 pm in M.D. Anderson Library, Room 306.  Lunch will be provided; please arrive a few minutes early.  Please RSVP by October 9 using the link below.  A flyer is attached.

Are you wondering how to handle a student that comes to you who is clearly in distress? What should you say? How should you respond? Who should you notify on campus if the student is suicidal, a victim of sexual assault, or is being stalked? How can you ensure the student connects with the Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) Center?
Join us for a discussion of these issues and pick up tips for assisting your students and guiding them to the appropriate campus resources.
