Dear Engineering Faculty and Staff:
Repair and cleanup crew will be working in the damaged administrative offices (NOT LABS) in Engineering Building 2 over the weekend and may need to unplug power cables and rearrange furniture as needed. They should cover up desks furniture and equipment with plastic before they begin work. As a result, please shut down any computer equipment and electronics in your area and, if possible, unplug them completely from the wall, UPS and/or surge protectors.
We want to avoid any accidental hardware/electronic damages as a result of repair and cleanup crew unplugging power cables from vital computer equipment and electronics. We also highly encourage securing mobile devices to prevent loss.
The following offices will be affected by the repairs over the weekend (although other administrative offices may be affected as well):
2nd Floor: E222, E224, E226, E228, E208, E210, E212, E221, E221A, W222, W227
3rd Floor: W304-W326, E336, E312B, E312C, E312D, E312E, E312F, E316, E316C, E316P, E311L, E311M, E313A, E313B, E313C, E313D
4th Floor: W432, W428
We strongly advice you to shut down your computers and electronics even if your office is not listed above.
Thank you,
Kiet Luong
