The Habitat for Humanity UH Campus Chapter would like to formally invite you to the Coog’s House Fundraiser sponsored by the UH Alumni Association, Fadi’s Mediterranean Grill, Saint Arnold's Brewery, and a fellow UH alumnus. The event will be held at the UH Alumni Center on October 17, 2017 from 5-8PM to raise the financial support necessary to launch the Coog’s House project.

In partnership with Houston Habitat for Humanity, the University of Houston Habitat Campus Chapter seeks to build an AIA award winning home designed by students from the UH Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture and Design. The Coog's House Project has been developed from concept to construction completely by UH students, and will ultimately represent a pivotal moment in the University of Houston's history.

The Coog's House Fundraiser will allow us to raise the final funds needed to construct the home. In attendance will be noteworthy guest speakers as well as attendees including members from the Mayor's office, City Housing Authority, University alumni & professional staff, along with Houston community and affordable housing advocates.

The Habitat for Humanity Campus Chapter at the University of Houston believes that every individual, despite their income and disadvantages, deserves a home. Proper housing not only benefits individual families, but improves the overall economy of a community and leaves a lasting legacy for future generations. Our organization has made creating lasting and sustainable positive changes in the Houston community through affordable housing its goal.

To make this event successful, we are seeking support from organizations and people like you. We are hopeful that you will extend your generous support to our Coog’s House project. Please RSVP above if you would care to join us!
