[CCoE Notice] Brookshire Scholarships

Attention Students:

On March 15, the University of Houston Foundation began accepting scholarship applications for the William A. Brookshire Endowed Scholarship and the William A. Brookshire IMPACT Scholarship. The scholarship applications can be found on the UH Foundation website. Along with the Brookshire scholarships, the UH Foundation has other scholarship opportunities available to engineering students. Please go to http://universityofhoustonfoundation.org/scholarships/index.php to learn more about the scholarship opportunities.

The Brookshire scholarships carry an award of $10,000 - $12,500 to undergraduate engineering students who are enrolled full-time, have reached their Junior or Senior level courses and work a minimum of 20 hours a week while enrolled as a full-time student. Please review the criteria that is listed on the scholarship applications to see if you are eligible to apply. Upon completion of the scholarship application, the application must be submitted directly to the UH Foundation. Any applications submitted to the college will not be forwarded on to the Foundation.

The goal for Fall 2017/Spring 2018 is to award well over 100 Brookshire scholarships, so if you meet the criteria, make sure you apply!!

The deadline for acceptance of any of the scholarship applications is April 14, 2017.
