[CCoE Notice] 1st Student Symposium of UH-MRS Chapter

UH-MRS Chapter is delighted to announce the 1st UH-MRS Student Symposium which will be held on April 5th 2017 (2-5 p.m, Engineering Bldg. 1).

All students who are working on different aspects of materials science and engineering (such as superconductors, semiconductors, materials energy fabrication, batteries, photovoltaics, biomaterials, nanomaterials, polymers, so on) from diverse research groups across the UH campus are invited to participate at the event.

The symposium focuses on poster presentation. Refreshment will be served and poster printing costs will be covered by the chapter.

Awards:
*  1st Prize: Certificate and cash prize of $300.
* 2nd Prize: Certificate and cash prize of $200.
* 3rd Prize: Certificate and cash prize of $100.

Important dates and deadlines: All abstract submissions must be received by 24 March 2017.

Please submit your abstract by the deadline to the president of UH-MRS Chapter (Mheydari at Central.uh.edu<mailto:Mheydari at Central.uh.edu>) with the subject of “1st UH-MRS Student Symposium-abstract”
Please provide full name of the co-authors, advisors name and department information.
