Dear Department Chairs and Graduate Program Directors,

The Graduate School is seeking nominations for the Third Graduate Research and Scholarships Projects Day which will be on Friday, November 10, 2017.  Nominations are due to the Dean’s Office by  Wednesday, August 30th . This will give the committee enough time to review and submit to the Graduate School before their deadline of September 1st. Departments will nominate students based on the following categories:

Demonstration and Performance Sub-Section
Posters Sub-Section
Publications Sub-Section
Talk Sub-Section

I would encourage a strong participation from the College of Engineering graduate students to show case their research projects.

Attached you will find the GRaSP Call For Applications (attachment one)  which will be distributed from the Graduate School to all graduate and professional students on the UH campus.  We also developed a GRaSP Road Map (attachment two) to be used internally as way to understand the GRaSP Call for Application process and programmatic steps leading to our UH GRaSP event in November.  The remaining attachments (attachments three-six) are the applications that students who you encourage to apply or students who apply on their own will need to complete and submit to the Graduate School.
