[CCoE Notice] I-Corps Workshop Now Open

Hello,

The summer I-Corps Workshop application is now open to all UH students and faculty from any major, level, or college. You simply need a tech startup idea. Participants will learn about the process of launching a startup including: how to find the right customer, bringing value to your customer, and how to handle intellectual property. The workshop will take place on Friday, June 23rd. Participants are expected to be in attendance all day (8:30am - 3:30pm) on Friday, June 23rd. Participants are also expected to participate in two follow up meetings in the weeks following the workshops with the I-Corps leadership team. These will include one check-in and one report out that will be scheduled with the participants following the workshop.

Successful completion of this workshop makes the participants eligible for a stipend of up to $1,500, as well as eligible to apply to the I-Corps national program; which is a more extensive startup curriculum and customer interview process. The national program comes with a $50,000 grant from the National Science Foundation.
