Dr. Ali has been awarded many honors including:

·       The Distinguished Alumnus Award of the Pennsylvania State University.

·       The Honorary Member award of the Society of Petroleum Engineers

·       Elected a member of US National Academy of Engineering, the highest recognition in the engineering profession
