[CCoE Notice] FW: B825, ECFP - Fire Pump: Electrical Outage Request for 01/28/2017

Please see the attached outage notification that will affect Engineering 1 and 2, and the Engineering Lecture Hall. There will be a 1-5 minute outage while the subfeeder is switched to it's normal position.  The work on the fire pump project will not affect the engineering buildings until it is finished and then Facilities will make the switch.

All equipment on backup power should start back up when power is restored. Users should check to make sure everything comes back up, if not, please call FixIt and report.  Please turn off equipment and computers prior to the outage.

Please find attached an outage request for an electrical outage that affects a number of buildings on campus.

This electrical outage is required in order to replace the existing 300KVA transformer with a 500KVA transformer at the Engineering Complex Fire Pump, Building 825, and repair an Sub-Feeder 4 electric box in the utility tunnel, Building 541 .

The outage request is for Saturday, January 28, 2017, beginning at 7:00AM and ending Sunday, January 29, 2017, at 5:30PM.

Impact(s) to the building are shown on the attached Table to the Outage Request.

I have copied the building's Building Coordinators on this request to give them a heads-ups on the request and impact to their building or project.

To mitigate the effects of the electrical outage, there will be support from the various Facility Services Shop to address issues.
