Dear Cullen College Faculty and Staff,
As you are aware from recent announcements, each Academic Unit was asked to reduce their budget by 2.5%.  Unfortunately, any type of budget reduction is always very difficult.  In addition, when the majority of the budget is allocated to personnel, it makes it even more difficult in looking at the elimination of positions.
Over the last couple of days, we did have to eliminate some staff positions within the College as part of our budget reduction.  Whenever reductions occur, questions are rightfully posed on how activities associated with those personnel reductions will be fulfilled.  I am providing you with a list of contacts for the affected services within the College as we work through this transition.
I am confident that even though we are faced with some adversity, as we work together, we can continue moving the Cullen College forward.
