[CCoE Notice] FW: Review: PLANNED LIFE SAFETY TESTING NOTIFICATION -- CALHOUN LOFTS, KROST, BATES, ENG 1 & 2 (14 DEC 2016)

Please see the attached notification which will affect Engineering 1 and 2.  Only equipment connected to emergency backup power will be affected. The equipment will see (2) short 8 second loss of electricity at the start and end while the normal power is turned off, generator is activated and transfers the electricity over to the generator. Please look into whether your equipment will restart or make arrangement sot plug into regular outlets.

Please let me know at your earliest convenience if there are problems.

BC's for CALHOUN LOFTS, KROST HALL, BATES LAW, ENG 1 & ENG 2,

We are planning 13 electric outages over the next three weeks with multiple buildings being done in one day in order to perform emergency generator and building life safety system testing. These will be done from 4:30am - 6:30am.

We need a confirmation from one representative of each building that you are now aware of this outage notification and on behalf of the building users you understand the impact. From your perspective the outage notification process and distribution can continue.

If you have any questions on the impact, please feel free to ask.

Thanks in advance for your speedy response. The sooner we get this notification processed, the sooner we can distribute an official copy.
