[CCoE Notice] FW: Review: PLANNED ELECTRIAL OUTAGE NOTIFICATION - FIRE PUMP PROJECT -- MULTIPLE BUILDINGS (4 JUNE 2016)

Please see the e-mail below describing the proposed electrical outage on June 4, a Saturday.  This is to tie in the power for the new fire pump for Engineering 1 and 2, and the MREB building. Please let me know is this presents a major issue.

Subject: B825, ECFP - Fire Pump: Outage Request

Jennifer/Jacquie:

Please find attached an outage request for an electrical outage that affects a number of buildings on campus, including the construction trailer that support the Multi-disciplinary Research and Engineering Building (MREB), Building 484.

The outage request is for Saturday, June 4, 2016 beginning at 7:00AM and lasting until 5:30PM.  Note that this is the weekend before Summer Session I begins.

All buildings with the exception of MREB will experience a 1 to 5 minute momentary loss of power at the beginning and end of the outage.  The MREB construction trailers will be without power for the duration of the project.

I have copied the building's Building Coordinators on this request to give them a heads-ups on the request and impact to their building or project.

To mitigate the effects of the electrical outage, there will be support from the various Facility Services Shop to address issues.
