[CCoE Notice] Participation Needed - Girls Engineering the Future Day

Hello All,

As you may have heard, the college is hosting a girls engineering day on April 2nd for local girls in 4th-8th grade.  We are reaching out to all the departments and student organizations to ask for their participation.  This will be the first time this has taken place here at UH and with Chevron as our title sponsor, we hope to make it a tradition for girls in the Houston area.  The event will last from 1-5pm and will consist of activities and demonstrations throughout engineering buildings 1 & 2, in classrooms, laboratories and common spaces.  If you’ve got an activity/project to showcase, we want to see it!
As you can see, the attached registration form is tailored to the student orgs but if you could just fill out the name of the activity and any additional information you can provide, I would greatly appreciate it.  This form is just a simple way for me to keep track of the activities we will be hosting.
Thanks so much for all your help.  We look forward to working together to make UH and Cullen College of Engineering shine!
