[CCoE Notice] Phishing Attempts

Good Afternoon,

There have been a few Phishing attempts circulating around today.  If you happen to receive one please do not click on any of the links in the body of the message and please permanently delete the message.  If you have happened to click on any of the links please contact Eric Stern as soon as possible.

Below is an example of what is being passed around:

"From: Drucker, Mona [mailto:mdrucker at Central.UH.EDU]
Sent: Tuesday, June 28, 2016 11:59 AM
Subject: UH Helpdesk

Your mailbox has exceeded its storage limit to set your e-mail administrator, and you will not be able to receive new mail until you re-validate it.

Click Here and login your information to re-validate your email account.

Thanks
Helpdesk Support Team"



Please remember that the UH helpdesk will never contact you in this manner and will never ask for your logon credentials or personal information.
