Please note the time change. The power will go out for approximately 5 minutes at 6:00 Am and again at 6:30. This is to reenergize the generator at Engineering 1 to a different electrical feed. Anything connected to emergency power will be energized. I suggest that equipment on emergency power  be checked to verify operation immediately after the first (at 6:00 AM) and second (at 6:30 AM) outage.

Everyone else should shut down computers and other equipment when they leave on Friday.

MULTIPLE BUILDINGS - PLANNED ELECTRICAL OUTAGE NOTIFICATION


OUTAGE IMPACT: All power fed from sub feeder #4 will need to be redirected from secondary source, if possible. The impact to those buildings (with the exception of the construction trailers for the Multi-disciplinary Research and Engineering Building (MREB), Building 484) will be a 1 to 5 minute momentary loss of power at the beginning (6:00 am) and the end of the outage (6:30 pm). Except for those minutes at the beginning and the end of the outage the building will have normal power.
For the construction trailers at MREB, no power will be available during the outage.
A complete listing of the buildings affected are provided in the table. All necessary UH Facility Services Shops will have staff available at the beginning and the end of the outage to ensure that all building systems come back on-line and are restored to their functionality prior to the outage.
