Please see the attached Outage Notification regarding tying in the new sprinkler lines to the hose boxes.  There shouldn't be a noticeable affect to normal activities, however, there will be a fire watch in progress during the outage.

#579 ENG 1 & #581 ENG 2 - PLANNED FIRE SPRINKLERS OUTAGE NOTIFICATION
Outage Impact: The intent is to shut down the 1st & 2nd floors sprinkler system (one floor at a time) per day to change out the 2 1/2 " valves inside the hose cabinets and tie into the existing system in each building. We will have one person designated as fire watch to continually walk the floor that has been shut down. A UH Security representative will monitor also per the Fire Marshal's office. The users have approved.
