[CCoE Notice] Scholarship Fund for Dr. Sonia Javan Moghaddam

Dear Cullen College Faculty and Staff:

A scholarship fund has been established in honor of Dr. Sonia Javan Moghaddam, a 2011 Ph.D. graduate of University of Texas, Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. At the time of her death she was an Assistant Professor at the Houston Community College in the Biology Department. Her passion was to pay it forward by mentoring and educating young scientific minds.

To honor her legacy, a scholarship fund was established that will provide cash awards to M.S., M.D./Ph.D. or Ph.D. female students of Iranian descent at the UT, GSBS program.
