The network issue has been pin-pointed to a failed network switch in Engineering Building 1 basement, which affected the two main Engineering buildings. Network technicians are in the process of replacing the network switch, therefore, only certain areas of the basement is still unavailable to reach the network. The rest of the two Engineering buildings should now return to normal. If you continue to experience networking issues outside of the affected area, please reboot your Lync phone or your computer. Please email Eric Stern if network issues remain even after computer/Lync phone reboot.

Good afternoon,
Engineering buildings 1 & 2 are experiencing networking issues at the moment. Network technicians have been contacted and are being deployed by the campus network support group to address the issue. There is currently no ETA for the network issue. I will provide updates as they become available. Please share this message with those in your area who are not able to receive emails due to this network issue.
Thank you for your patience.
