[CCoE Notice] Nominations for College Teaching Awards

Cullen College of Engineering Faculty and Staff:
In anticipation of an expected request from the 2014-15 Effective Instruction Committee (the last three COE Kittinger Award winners and department representatives) I submit the following message:

College of Engineering Faculty Teaching Awards: Please provide a one page maximum (11pt font, one inch margins) nomination letter for any faculty member in your department you deem worthy of a College of Engineering Faculty Teaching Award. Please submit all documents electronically.  Note: Faculty, Staff, and Department Chairs will be asked to provide nominations or to self-nominate for this award category. Self-nominations are welcome.  If the nominator wishes to specifically nominate a faculty member for the Kittinger Teaching Award, that can be mentioned in the nomination letter, if the nominator chooses.  The Effective Instruction Committee will use this information as a guide in its considerations.

College of Engineering Teaching Assistant Award: Only Department Chairs can provide nominations for this award category.  Please consult your chair to nominate Teaching Assistants.

College of Engineering Lecturer Award:  Only Department Chairs can provide nominations for this award category.  The Dean's Office liaison to the Effective Instruction Committee will be asked to submit nominations for Lecturers with no department affiliations. Please consult your chair or that liaison to nominate a lecturer.

Deadline for submitting all nominations in all award categories is the end of the day (5PM) on Friday, March 6th.
